Customisation
What can I customise?
Your boat. Upload a side-on photo and we custom-draw her in 25 seconds. The illustration prints across the back of the shirt.
What's printed where?
Boat illustration prints full-back. The front stays clean — no extra logos, no hidden brand marks anywhere on the shirt.
Can I send my own logo or use someone else's?
Your own logo, yes. Someone else's brand or copyrighted artwork — no. We won't print anything you don't have rights to.
What if my boat photo isn't great?
Send what you have. If we can't work with it, we'll email you within 24 hours and tell you what we need (usually a clearer side-on shot, daylight, no backlit silhouettes).
Proof and revisions
Do I see the design before you print it?
Yes — instantly. You get 3 sketches custom-drawn from your boat photo in 25 seconds. Pick your favourite, then add to cart. No waiting on email proofs.
What if the sketch isn't quite right?
You get 3 attempts in the designer — generate as many sketches as you want until you find one you love (capped at 3 per visit). Once you order, we print exactly the sketch you picked.
What does the proof look like?
A clean digital mockup showing your boat illustration, name, and port positioned on the shirt. Front and back views. PDF or image attached to the email.
Materials and fit
What's the shirt made of?
100% brushed polyester, 175 g/m². Soft, mid-weight, holds the print without distortion.
What's the fit?
Regular fit, standard length. Size chart on the product page (XS through 4XL). If you're between sizes and want a relaxed fit, size up. Closer to the body, size down.
How do I care for it?
Machine wash cold (max 30°C / 90°F). Tumble dry low. No bleach, no iron, no dry-clean. The print is dye-sublimated into the fabric — it won't peel or crack.
Crew Kit
What's the Crew Kit?
Three shirts, all printed with the same design (same boat, same name, same port), priced at $198 instead of $297 for three singles. You pick three sizes — they can match or differ.
Can I get the Crew Kit with three different boats?
Not with the Crew Kit pricing. The discount is for one boat design printed three times. If you want three different boats, place three single orders.
Can I order more than three at the Crew Kit rate?
Yes — for orders of 5+, email us at hello@waterlinecustom.com for tournament/team pricing.
Shipping and turnaround
How long does it take?
The sketch is instant — 25 seconds in the designer. From order to your door: 7–10 days (US shipping).
Where do you ship?
US for v1. International shipping coming next.
How much is shipping?
Calculated at checkout based on your address. Starts at $4.75 for US orders.
Returns and damages
Can I return it if I don't like it?
Custom-made products are not eligible for change-of-mind returns. You see the sketch in the designer before you order — that's the moment to make sure it's right.
What if it arrives damaged or with a defect?
Email us within 14 days with photos. Defective or damaged orders get replaced free. No restocking fees.
What if the size is wrong?
If we made it in the wrong size (different from what you ordered), we'll replace it free. If the size you ordered doesn't fit, we'll work with you on a discounted reorder — but we can't take returns on custom prints.
